Restorative Medical, Inc. (RMI)
was founded in 1991 by its current owner and President, Karen Bonn. While working as a Director Of Nursing in a Long-Term Care Facility, Bonn was disheartened at the limited and inappropriate selection of orthotics available for "Restorative-Type Patients". While most of the medical community still thought these types of contractures were inevitable and not able to be corrected, Bonn, along with a team of talented individuals, sought a solution to this very problem.

continues to grow and be a leader in the development and design of contracture orthosis. In February 2003, RMI relocated to its new 8,600 square foot facility where they have expanded and brought their plastic fabrication in-house as King Enterprises, LLC. RMI is positioning itself to be a leader in this growing market and continues to help the needs of their patients.

As the population in Long-Term Care and Assisted Living Facilities continue to increase in numbers each day, we continue to hear about Federal and State freezes and cut-backs. In addition, the OIG and other federal, state and local agencies continue to watch these nursing homes closer and demand compliance. The non-compliance penalties can be severe. We hope we can do our part by assisting nursing homes with a simple low cost solution for the treatment and prevention of contractures and other conditions prevalent in their facilities.
